Lotus Blooming

Coloring Flowers is really enjoyable for me.
There's just something soothing about it.
Today, I have colored one of the new Make it Crafty
I really tried (and failed) :D
to create the light, sheerness of the petals.
Alas...I'm a heavy shadower and while I do like the result
I wanted a more gentle, delicate look.
I'll keep trying though.
Copics Used:
Petals: RV06, 04, 02, 0000
Leaves: G29,17,14, 02

The kiddos are back in school and it's time to get my color on.
This little critter is so adorable.

But now he's all done and peeking out to say, "Hello"

Coloring Out of the Lines

This month's challenge is fantastic...
Blending outside of the color family.

What does that mean?
Well, if you are using Reds; incorporate yellow
Using Purple; add some pink
Using yellow; add some green
You get the idea.

You're not restricted by what you use BUT they do need to look as if they should be there.
So, no obvious gradient changes
And if you get stuck along the way; we are always here to lend a hand.
Here's mine, using
