For mine, I've added a twist to the mummy and the pumpkin house
who says Halloween is just for the spooks

I've colored these up in my copics, added a couple of stickers, safety pin embelly and a bit of gauze that I've colored pink

Halloween is a coming...are you ready for the monsters night of fright?

I just love Halloween.
Not for the scary but for the creativity.
Prechildren, I would make these huge elaborate costumes for my husband and myself.
We would decorate the house up, fills bags with treats and quickly became a neighborhood favorite.
Bless my little must wear store bought costumes...
So, my outlet goes into these creations.
Hope you enjoy these gorgeous images by Simply B Stamps.
Straight from her Steampunk Halloween collection

For all you twilight's a bit of Bella the Vampire
I merged the two images and Colored in copics
three spellbinder dies, WOC blooms, frontage and a little charm finishes off the magic
Have a safe and Happy one

Here kitty kitty

Make it Crafty has some amazing new images out with incredible eyes.  At MIC, the challenge is one easy; coloring eyes and difficult; with reflection. An added option of taking the image a bit beyond.

So..I went from April

I colored her with charcoal pencils and a bit of prismapencil.
She's covered in acetate to prevent spearing and then framed it faux leather material, decorated with frame brads and bullet brads. More faux material and finished off with corrugate board and a few leopard rhinestones

Thanks for stopping by

Jennifer Dove's color of the day

If you're a fan of Jennifer Dove Bonner like I am, then you're familiar with her color of the day.
These amazing little gems have helped me out more times than I can count.
If you've never seen them, then you're missing out on a treasure. Go get you some.

Here's how I store mine; on a hook ring, separated by color group. They're hooked at arms reach, right above my desk.  It looks crazy but it works great for me

Can you see the soul through one's eyes?

Think Pink...
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
MIC is having a challenge of coloring eyes.
I love this because I probably would not have attempted this otherwise and
I had an absolute blast with this challenge and image
This is Melyssa

I pinked her up with my copics and used this image as my eye inspiration guide

I'm entering her into:
Di's Digi Design - Show off your coloring skills
Make it Colourful - coloring eyes

Baby Tilly

Friends of ours who married last year, had a little bundle a few months back.
Babies inspire us so much in life and little Tilly has inspired my latest card.

The image is Vintage Ballerina
I've lowered the opacity to reduce a lot of her natural shading,
then colored her up in primascolor pencils
spellbinder ovals create her frames
white felt, covered in a pink netting, then quilt stiched.
Total card is framed by a braided ribbon.

Here's little Tilly

I'm entering her into:

I believe it was two days after Tilly's dad called to say they'd received her card that they found out she has cancer.
Keep Tilly on your prayers
