This has been such a fun month over at Outlawz.

I've been guesting and have seen some great creations.

My card this month was done with Gumnut Curly Top

I've colored her up with Copics

Using my fav tutorial on pebbles from MiC

 Marvy Uchida butterfly punch, punching twice in coordinating colors,

I added some pearls colored to match. twirled up a bit of flower stem for the antennae

the flowers, joined together by a metal flower and brad

So my take on it went a bit wonky.

I created my image too large and then had to fit the elements in

Exquisite Ardelia

Happy day to you,

This month's sketch over at Make it Crafty Face book is so gorgeous

And a gorgeous image it deserves.

 

I chose Ardelia.

I've been wanting to color her up for so long. 

This sketch was perfect for her. I just love her elegance.

 

 

I used Fiskars Asian Inspired stamps.

 Stamped the background in cherry blossoms

then embossed in black

Using on of the symbols in the pack, I did the four corner elements.

WOC blooms and ribbon from stash.

Love how she turned out.

Love Is In the Air At Make It Crafty

Love is in the air at Make it Crafty and not just because we have new images but because we have a new illustrator too!

Victoria has such a cute style and her images are perfect for colouring enthusiasts of all levels. The style is simple enough for beginners to practise blending yet offer flexibility for the more adventurous colourer to add detail to clothing and hair.

New Releases at Scrapper's Delights

We have a fabulous new challenge going on at Make it Colourful

My favorite thing about these challenges is that I'm really challenged.

That is, to try something different. And there are two options everytime.

This month, the easy challenge is to use browns in your project.

The hard challenge is to use only brown, creating a Sepia, Vintage look.

I truly learn and try something new every month I participate.

And I LOVE them all!

 

This month, I've gone with the Sepia

Using Loving Maya and part of the birds and butterflies elements collection

Love this effect!

 

I added several embellishments to enhance the aged feel.

And I found the cutest jute ribbon that I thought perfect

 

I used several stamps from the TPC Studio Travel collection with Tim Holtz detress inks.

ditress the edges and played till I found something I liked.

The sentiment is perfect for graduation, new job, new town...anything. Love it.
