I am over the moon to come to you today with such a wonderful colaboration.
I love Faber-Casteel, so I jumped on the opportunity to join along with
LDRS Creative and Faber-Castell.
I started off with the gorgeous image Geisha by Dollhouse.
I wanted to do something a little different with the Sentiment Wishing You
So, I've masked off all but the top line then stamped it on my image.
Masking then, the top line, I stamped the remainder on a separate piece of card stock.

Using a decorated vellum and the lovely view die,  I created a gorgeous oriental style fan.

For my Canvas I gessoed up an 8x10. After drying I used a mix of Gelatos in Black Cherry, Iced Current, Iced Rose and Gold Champagne.

I mixed a little gesso with Iced Current to make a paste and sporadically put down some design with one of the stencils from the 102 Stencil Collection.

I've added a few chipboards from SRTC and MIC that I've also colored with Iced Champagne

After putting all my pieces into place; I mixed the Asphalt Texture Paste with Gelatos Green Tea.
Again, using a piece from 102 Stencil Collection. Then once more with this same process but adding a bit of gesso to the color mix; making a lighter leaf.

Finally, using the Asphalt Texture Paste, a little gesso and Gelatos Iced Chai and a final piece from 102 Stencil Collection, I created my stems.

With the India ink PITT artist pen S in black, I've written a few Chinese symbols.

I've added a ton of amazing I am roses flowers.

I'm Sorry

I just love this sweet little pup.
Those eyes just get me every time.
I've used "Bad Doggy" from DoveArt Studios.
Copics Used:
E49, YR27, 24, 21,20
YG99, 97, 95, 93
I then used a water brush filled with alcohol;
cleaned out my B12 cap to give a quick wash creating the sky.
I've printed out the sentiment, then cut it with Creative Basics Dies Basic Stitched Flag.
Using two tones of olive card stock; I cut additional parts and created an effect to my liking.
With Creative Basics Dies Basic Background Builders I I've created my frame.
Taking the single line and its outline, I cut four pieces.
I laid the parts down on my image and marked where I wanted the frame to end.
Then scooting the cut piece back on the dies end; stopping at my mark. I re-cut the tip.
It was super easy to do as I can feel the piercing slides into place on the dies
so I know I've got a perfect fit.
Then having only the tip covered by my Cuttle bug plate; that will be the only part that cuts.

A Fairytale

Truer words have not been spoken.
Who didn't want to grow up to be a princess riding a unicorn?
I know I did.

This is Danika by Doll House.
She's so whimsical. I just love her.

The background is created with the triangle die from Basic Background Builders I. Sitting it side by side and keep running it through; I've gotten this amazing quilted look.
I've paired her with a sentiment from the Fairytales Collection.
Of course, always experimenting; I've used the line die from Basic Background Builders I to create a pierced edge.
Every princess needs some lace so I've added the Gilded Doily Die.
Finally, the bottom is finished off with the Basic Cutting Edge Borders I
A few blooms from I Am Roses
Berries and Babies Breath from Live & Love Crafts

Splish Splash

Splish Splash, I was takin' a bath.
Well maybe I just needed to wet my tail.
This month at Make it Crafty, we are all about the bubbles.

 I've used Cordelia the Mermaid

I was quite nervous about bubbles.
I knew what I wanted in my mind but you know it doesn't always come out on paper.
I added glossy accents for dimension on the floating ones.
I really love that but it did take away a lot of the color effect underneath.
Can't have it all. :D
I then put mica flakes in the tub.
It turned out pretty fun so, overall, I'm happy and ready for a soak.
