A Potted Mouse?

House Mouse is a classic.
I've gotten the joy of playing with this little girl from Stampendous.
Called Potted Mouse.

I really had fun making this one.
I kinda incorporated the whole thing around the flower.
Using the two smallest dies from Basic Pierced Oval
then trimming a piece from Basic Background Builders I, I created the flower center.
Sentiment is from the Beary Mice Set
and when I can, I use the large flag from Basic Stitched Flags to cut out my image.
I just love the edges it gives

Copics Used:
Pot: E79, YR27, 14, 24, 12

Flower: B66,63,61

I love you Coffee

I love Coffee!!!
Whose with me?
So, when the PPC&F girls got a chance to play with images from our amazing sponsor Stampendous,
I had to have these darlins called

I really enjoy monochromatic so the colors for this one was an easy choice.
Then adding the cutest sentiment from Life Words

With these critters bouncy for joy...or caffeine, I gave them a mountain background using
The flags are from Basic Stitched Flags
and the wooden piece from SRTC's Coffee Grinder Set
and because I really do love fresh coffee, I borrowed a couple beans from the grinder.

I hope you've all been checking out this weeks hop projects from LDRS Creative.
I had a blast creating this little cutie called Canary Love.

I've used the Basic Pierced Oval to create a pop up card. Using the colors from this gorgeous checked ribbon in Purple/lavender/parrot green; I've colored up my Saturated Canary image.
Spraying the ivory lace pearl ribbon with YG23; then tucking it around to create a sweet frame a top my pop up.
The background paper has been embossed with the Gilded Embossing Folder.
Tucking the Gilded Doily behind my image for a bit of simple elegance.
With the Friends Sentiments, I've fussy cut it and it's backing. Framing it with a bit of floral all bowed up with twine  in pink.
The interior is created by cutting 4 of the Gilded Oval Die and gluing them together for a stop on the card.
Finally tying it all together with twine in Purple.

PPCF gets All Dressed Up

As PPC&F celebrate with All dressed up this weekend,
I've chosen two little cuties.
First up is this guy called A star is Born.
For me, a really good baby image is hard to come by.
I fell in love with this little cuddle bug.

I started this project out creating a star in MS word. Altering the points to it was not so abrupt, I then cut out my stencil and traced it on my cardstock.
Then very easily took the Creative Basics Cutting Edge Builder I and lined up the edges creating this super cool star background.
He's colored up with Copics:
E47, 44, 40
then adding some blender solution to a terry fabric, I dabbed (3 secs) around his body to make some fluffy fur.
The stars were super quick as well. Simply outline the back edge with C6; added C00 to soften it toward the light and boom.
I then stippled a bit back in the shadows areas to amplify his contour.
A little distressing, a little frantage and this guy was all set up.
Next up, I used Fly Away Butterfly
On this card, I've taken Creative Basic Cutting Edge Border I again.
This time using the scalloped piece.
I cut out using the blue violet and fuchsia cardstock.
The die actually cuts two sections; the scallop and reverse scallop.
I've combined both pieces of alternating color to create this funky look.
Then I've taken the straight piece of Creative Basic Background Builder I;
shortening to size by just scooting down the cut edge and cutting only that portion.
I've added a ton of I am Roses Blooms and Ribbon Resource wired Ribbon in purple and pink.
Simply wound it around a pencil and I have little swirlies. (thanks Corinne for that tip)
Copics Used:
Hair: E47, 44, E42, YR20
Skin: E04, 11, 21, 00, 000, RV10
Dress/flower/butterfly: V28, 25, 20
Roses/butterfly R59, 32, 20
flower/butterfly R24, 20

PPC&F hop along with Noor UK

Welcome to the Noor Design UK''s First Blog Hop.  We are joined by the girls from Passionate Paper Creations so there will be lots of inspiration and ideas on how to use the LDRS Creative Basic dies along with products from the Noor Design UK Shop.

It's so exciting to be a part of this hop with all the gorgeous product available at Noor;
it's a never ending craft party.

My creation today is using theDutch Doobadoo 302-Swing Card Art A4 Romance stencil die.

After adding my coordinting background papers, I've colored up my image;
Using the Creative Basic Basic Cutting Edge Borders I; I've cut two strips.
Then connecting them in the center with the straight strip from
With the smallest piece from Creative Basic Basic Pierced Ovals;
we get that super perfect bow.
Again, with the Creative Basic Basic Background Builders I;
I've added the diamond shape quilted piece along the edge.
Finally with Dutch Doobadoo 014-Softboard Art Loose Bricks,
I've sprayed them with my copic R59.
This gorgeous card folds up for easy mailing.
It also tucks nicely together to accommodate thicker embellishments.
I loved how easy it was with the stencil die to make such a "fancy"card.

Country Store a Touch of Nostalgia

I just love this image.
The days of old when everyone knew everyone and people were treated as the neighbor next door.
Yes, thankfully, I was a part of that generation.
Such a peaceful, no rushed pace it was.
I've created today's card with the timeless error in mind.

Cutting 3 graduating sizes of the Basic Stitched Flags; I created a nice little pattern.
Using the smallest flag, I've attached my sentiment.
Finally using the strip in the Basic Background Builders; I've added a buckle to keep the manly feel.
I hope you like my card today.

Sail Away

Doesn't a night sail sound wonderful?
This month at Make it Crafty, we are coloring skies.
I thought it would be fun to try and incorporate that into this image with a moon
it was tricky to get the "glow" but in the end, I really love this.
Using Sailboat
The Copic colors I've used on the Boat are my fav red combo
add a bit of E57,44 to just get some definition.
After all, it's night time :D
The colors for the sky and water can be found in Zoe's new Ebook
