Shades of Purple Elegance

Shades of purple are probably some of my favorite colors.
Strangely, its all shades surrounding the one color.
I thought it quite fitting for my image, Garden Door and truly the first color that came to mind when I saw this image.

one of the many Whimsy Stamps June releases.
This one comes from DoveArt Studios.

Other Whimsy Stamp Products used:

I colored Garden Door up with Copics.
Then using Beaded Curtain Stencil, I stamped through two alternating "shades of purple"

I just love this stencil. It has a beautiful elegance to it.
Perfect company for Garden Door

Finally, I added a bit of ribbon and rhinestone.

Sandy Teddy

Oh hello, wanna play?

This little sugar bear looks so relaxed and focused.
Working hard on building his castle.

Today's image comes from Whimsy Stamps June release.

I've colored Teddy Building a Sandcastle up with my copics
then did a simple cut out with cardstock back frame.
For the backing, I used Grass and Cloud Edgers Die Set to create a layered down the whole background.
Using Everyday Scripted Sentiments, I created a little sentiment
to pop onto Card Builder Window Die Set Sun piece

Finally, I added some twisted twine to finish off my card.

Oh Sunny Days

A little jealous?

Yeah, me too.
Who would not want to be hangin' out with this guy?

Well, coloring him up was just as fun and much less sticky :D

Whimsy Stamps Products used:

I started with my image, Fish in the Sun; coloring him in Copics. Cutting the image out
with Basic Stitched Ovals Die Set

Then moved on to the fun messy part.haha
Just playing with Mermaid Scales Stencil was so cool.
I sprayed it with my Copic air system with a gold combo; adding more dark at the bottom.
Finished off with Everyday Scripted Sentiments and a couple little fishies.

Blooms and Birdhouses

How gorgeous is this new image from DoveArt Studios and Whimsy Stamps?

There's just something about Hydrangea. Add the Birdhouse and I'm in Heaven.

Products I've used are

I've colored my image, Potted Birdhouse, up in Copics. Taking the Basic Stitched Oval Die Set, I've cut my image and frame out.
If you noticed with Card Builder Windows Die Set, it will cut a pierced window out but also cuts a pierced inside piece. I took advantage of this to  I've cut out my background and frame in different papers. Simply lay the pieces back together in the card base and adhere down.
Finally, I've taken the Card Builder Windows Die Set tab to create a background for my sentiment. It, of course, comes from Everyday Scripted Sentiments.
Adding a little ribbon and pearls makes my card complete.

Wavy Ride

Oh my I had a blast with this card.

Whimsy Stamps products I've used:

I colored Naia and her friend up with my Copics
Then cut them out with the inner portion of Shaker Maker Rectangle Die Set.
I lay the Making Waves Stencil across the image and taped it down. I then took an aqua and lime gelato; using my finger, I rubbed up with one color and down with the other. I moved the image around under the stencil to custom place my waves.
Finally, I took a piece from my Paper Door paper stash and cut with the larger
For the sentiment, I took that same Paper Door paper and Stayz On Ink pad with Everyday Scripted Sentiments and Tim Holtz stamp platform to create a custom sentiment.
